About Me

I have worked in private practice for over a decade, and am honored to walk aside individuals on their healing journey. 

 

I graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, and  Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of St. Josephs.  I have a history of teaching at a local community college along with case/care management, community mental health work and working as a counselor in an integrative care setting.  Being in the counseling room is my passion!  At the core of my work is the belief that people are incredibly resilient. Even if it doesn’t feel that way right now, the capacity for healing is already within you—I’m here to help you access it.

EMDR Therapy

I am an EMDRIA certified EMDR therapist. EMDR is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences.

FAQs

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, I accept some but not all insurance plans.  Please inquire within for clarification.

What is your rate?

My rate starts at $150 based on time in session.  If I do not accept your insurance, some plans offer out-of-network reimbursement.  If this is you, please contact your insurance to learn more about your benefits. 

What payments do you accept?

Payment is due at time of service.  I accept most major credit cards, checks and cash. I can provide you with a receipt for service, if you would like to submit for out of network reimbursement. I also accept most HSA/FSA plans.  

What is your cancellation policy?

When you book a counseling session, that hour is saved just for you.  If you are unable to attend your session please be sure to call to cancel or re schedule at least 24 hours before your scheduled session to avoid a late cancellation fee.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Scheduling an appointment with me is easy. Simply  email me to book a convenient time for your initial consultation. We strive to accommodate your schedule and provide prompt assistance.

What can I expect during a therapy session?

During a therapy session with Angie you can expect a safe and confidential environment where you can openly discuss your thoughts and feelings. She will listen attentively, offer guidance, and work collaboratively with you to explore solutions and promote personal growth.
